Located in the tiny Van Reenen village (population 23), situated on the N3 highway at the top of Van Reenen pass, The Green Lantern Inn is famous among travellers and sportsmen as a halfway refreshing point and offers unrivalled old school hospitality in a unique historic environment.

Phone ahead as you pass Harrismith or Estcourt and we’ll serve your meal on arrival, or for the more relaxed traveller order on arrival for prompt service.
