Nolangeni Hotel is newly refurbished and is currently the only hotel situated in the historic town of Kokstad. The ideal stop over for company representatives and small groups travelling in the area. The Nolangeni Hotel offers 24-hour reception with 40 tastefully decorated, spacious en-suite rooms with either a bath or shower. Guests have a choice between kings, double, or twin beds. All cottage-style rooms are furnished stylishly with modern fittings. All the bedrooms have TV`s with the choice of ten DStv channels, tea and coffee making facilities and telephones. A safe is available at reception for valuables. Kokstad is a town in the Sisonke District of KwaZulu-Natal Province, South Africa. Kokstad is built on the outer slopes of the Drakensberg and is 1,302 meters above sea level. Behind it, Mount Currie rises to a height of 2,224 meters. This South Western tip of KwaZulu-Natal is the southern gateway to the entire KwaZulu-Natal midlands and Eastern Cape including The Wild Coast. The location is cradled by the mighty Drakensberg, the Nungi and Ingeli Mountains and characterized by numerous rivers and streams, wide open spaces and unspoilt valleys, covering an area of 4000 square kilometers. The diverse and interesting fauna, flora and geographical features of the region, and the sweeping panoramic views, make this area the unspoilt jewel of the province.

The area is popular for its many rivers and dams that provide ample opportunity for trout fishing, and there are no fewer than three reserves, Mount Currie, Wilfred Bauer, with lovely picnic spots, and the Mountain Lake Nature Reserve, a small reserve peppered with cattle tracks and little paths that provide wonderful walks, as well as over 220 species of bird for bird lovers.Crystal Dam provides boating and angling opportunities
