General

Re Etile Family House Bed and Breakfast is located in the heart of Eersterust, a unique, peaceful and comfortable accommodation establishment situated in Pretoria, currently known as Tshwane. It is situated near many tourist attractions in the city. The B & B provides two units, a double bedroom and a relaxing twin bedroom unit. Both units have en-suite bathrooms, kitchenette facilities, DStv, fans, heaters and tea trays. The beautiful garden is the ideal place to relax and we offer lunch or dinner on request. The House is only five minutes away from a BP, Shell and Caltex Depot. The Menlyn and Kollande shopping complex, Pioneer and the Sammy Marks Museum are all located a 10-minute drive from the property. Nearby attractions include the Loftus Versfeld Stadium, Roodeplaat Dam and Hengelaarsvriend, the Pretoria Zoo and the Union Buildings.

Known as the Jacaranda City for all the purple blossom-bedecked trees, which line its thoroughfares, Pretoria is a lovely, quiet city. Pretoria has been left in a relative state of slumber, lying as it does in a warm, sheltered valley surrounded by the hills of the Magaliesberg range that ensure that temperatures here are invariably a few degrees warmer than Johannesburg. Pretoria has a beauty all of its own, and the slow pace of life is regarded as a bonus by its residents. Wall flower the city is not. When in full bloom in October, Pretoria literally comes alive with blossoms and leaves no one in doubt as to the origin of its nickname – Jacaranda city.
