Somabula Nature Reserve offers self-catering chalets, a camping ground, and accommodation in restored ox wagons.
The stone and wooden chalets are in secluded areas with and can accommodate up to five people. Linen, bedding, crockery, and lamps are provided.The chalets are equipped for self-catering with braai areas, gas cooking, refrigeration facilities, and hot and cold water. Each chalet is supplied with one bundle of wood.
The ox wagons have a communal catering and lounge area, ablution facilities, and hot and cold water.Linen, bedding, crockery, and fridges are provided. Each camping areas has its own braai area and guests share the open air ablution facilities with hot and cold water. A maximum of six people are allowed per site.
Game drives during the day and at night are offered. There are trails for walking, mountain biking, and horse riding.
Day visitors can make use of the lapa with its braai area for family gatherings or special occasions.
