Salt Rock Beach, approximately 5 minutes drive is one of the popular surf spots on the Dolphin Coast.

The tidal pool at the main beach is a great way to enjoy the ocean without having to worry about the waves or tides. The main beach now offers shark nets and life savers are on duty daily. Tinley Manor Hil’s has a private rim flow pool
The flag animal farm is a fun activity for the kids.

Birdlife is aplenty, Bird watching a must.
The rocks are full of mussels and crayfish (license required for All sea activities and harvesting). Holiday licenses for all sea activities is available at the local Post Offices.
Dolphins all year round and whales during winter are often spotted, so be sure to be on the lookout and ring Tinley Manor Hil’s bell if you see any!

End your day off with dinner under the moonlight (Dinners are by request).

If you would like to eat out for dinner, try the authentic Indian restaurant “Impulse By the Sea” within walking distance that serves the best curries in KZN. Or if you are looking for a bigger variety of restaurants and or shops they are a mere 5 to 10 minutes away.

There is a very popular dog on the premises called Dude. Loved by all who come here, even those afraid of dogs fall in love with him.
