General

Felsensicht Holiday Home is situated near Boulders Beach, Simon’s Town, with a 180 degree view of False Bay stretching from Muizenberg in the north to Cape Point in the south. On a clear day there are views of Stellenbosch, Gordons Bay, Seal Island and Cape Hangklip. Felsensicht is an ultra modern, large, attractive and wonderfully comfortable home. All necessary linen, cutlery, crockery, glassware, pots and pans etc are provided. The house is a 2-minute walk from Fisherman’s Beach and a 20-minute walk from the world famous penguins at Boulders Beach. Children are welcome.

Felsensicht is able to accommodate up to 6 persons in 2 double rooms and 1 twin room. Accommodation is self-catering. On the ground floor there is a large double garage with storage area. The middle floor consists of an open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge area. There is a Jetmaster fireplace, satellite TV and underfloor heating. Free Wi-Fi is installed throughout the house. The kitchen has a glass-top stove with oven, a fridge freezer and a microwave oven. The washing machine, dishwasher and tumble dryer are located in the scullery. There is a large outdoor sea facing patio area with a Weber and a gas grill for barbecues/braais. The upper floor consists of three bedrooms each leading out onto a sea-facing patio. The main bedroom has a dressing room area and a bathroom en-suite with bath and shower (with a magnificent ocean view). The second and third bedrooms share the second bathroom which has a bath and shower. A guest WC is situated just off the living area on the middle floor.

Simon’s Town itself is a quaint and interesting little town. The Simon’s Town waterfront is an extremely attractive area with a number of small boutiques selling clothing, artistic items, bric a brac and souvenirs. There is an excellent choice of restaurants within walking and /or driving distance of Felsensicht including Seaforth Restaurant, The Meeting Place, The Lighthouse Caf
