Located in the charming and picturesque Franschhoek valley, an area famous for its world-class cuisine and wine, La Galiniere Guest Cottages provide comfortable self-catering accommodation at some of the most affordable rates in the area. The cottages are beautifully located on a boutique vineyard, close to the centre of town.
Each cottage, boasting a contemporary design, is equipped with a satellite TV with wide range of movie and sports channels, electric fan heater, electric cooling fan, hair dryer, gas oven and hob, microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, crockery, cutlery, pans and cooking utensils. High quality linen and towels are provided along with complimentary toiletries. Rooms have a non-smoking policy.
Guests can look forward to receiving a complimentary bottle of wine, made from the grapes harvested on the farm. The farm provides an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers, and braai area, ideal for the hot summer months. Secure parking is available and high chairs and cots can be requested for younger guests. Services include 24-hour on-call medical assistance, laundry (on request), babysitting (with advance notice), tour reservations, transfers and car rental assistance. Grocery shopping can be arranged for guests by prior arrangement. Nearby activities include cycling, hiking, antiques, art and wine tasting.
100% payment required for one night bookings. 50% deposit required for bookings of 2 nights or more. Guests making cancellations more than seven days prior to the intended date of arrival will receive a refund on their deposit, less any bank, credit card or administrative costs. A minimum cancellation fee of R50 applies. Guests making cancellations seven days or less prior to intended arrival will forfeit their deposits.
