Nestling just below the famous Bain’s Kloof Pass, with a panoramic vista of mountains and lush farmland, Monte Video is a brand-new, upmarket guest house and conference venue, designed with luxury and comfort in mind. At Monte Video there are nine spacious, individually-themed double suites, designed with luxury in mind. These are decorated in a chic, minimalist style, with uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains, farmland and town. The large en-suite bathrooms contain double or single basins, and baths or showers, depending on individual requirements. Suites are equipped with all the essentials, including full-length mirrors, air-conditioning, satellite television, hairdryers and coffee or tea-making facilities. After a tranquil night’s sleep guests can enjoy a full breakfast in the stylish dining-room (where home-cooked lunches and dinners are available on request). Relax in the lounge area while you plan the day’s activities and as the sun sets over the valley – savor leisurely sundowners and fine estate wines at our intimate bar, or al fresco on the wrap-around patio, with the glittering stars above, and the warm, welcoming lights of our little town below.

Convenient, built-in work-surfaces have been provided, to cater for business travelers. Monte Video Guest House is within easy access of tourist attractions in the Cape Winelands and 70km from Cape Town International Airport. There is a fully equipped conference centre offering the ideal setting for small conferences, business meetings and private parties more comfortable and customized than ever before.
