Modern and elegant interiors with bold original artwork echoing the colours and vibrancy of surrounding nature. Each luxury suite is equipped with every modern amenity. Guests can relax on the pool deck, with its tumbling water feature, or in the music lounge that has a large sea-view balcony. The bar lounge is equipped with a 60“ plasma TV with all DSTV channels. Internet facilities are available in the library which overlooks the mountain terrace, where gently cascading waterfalls convey a sense of tranquillity.

Hermanus is one of the world’s top land-based whale watching destinations. Lovely fynbos hikes and picnic spots abound, along with pristine beaches like the famed Blue Flag Grotto Beach, a 5 minute drive from Selkirk House.

Wine lovers can visit estates in the beautiful Hemel & Aarde Valley and other regions like Stanford and Bot River.

Selkirk House’s legendary breakfast is served by Ina Schirmeisen, who will pamper you during your stay and ensure that it is a memorable one.

i) 59 days prior to arrival date, 10% of the deposit becomes non-refundable.
ii) 30 – 15 days proir to arrival date, 50% of the total for the period booked will be charged.
iii) 14 – O days prior to arrival date, 100% of the total for the period booked will be charged.
