Our internationally acclaimed shortbread is renewed daily, as is the port and the muscadel (muscadel is the sweet wine loved by early settlers). The mini bar is stocked with beer, soft drinks, water and fresh milk. All these items are there for your enjoyment at no charge if consumed on the premises. There is an extensive range of local Aloe Ferox toiletries in the bathrooms, to be enjoyed. Electric blankets are available at all times. You’ll be welcomed with a complimentary cup of tea or coffee or homemade lemonade and some of Jackie’s homemade cookies. we will explain the area to you if you wold like us to, or leave you to find your own way. (either Stephen or Jackie are always on the premises). We make restaurant bookings on your behalf and offer you complimentary lifts to and from the restaurant. You will be invited to join the hosts for complimentary wine tasting, and drinking, served with snacks (homemade nibbles and other local treats) before you go out to dinner.
