At the Walden House, there are seven beautifully designed en-suite rooms, suited to our unique look and feel, that offer unique privacy. White cotton bed linen, white painted wooden floors, comfy beds, homemade biscuits in each room and the best views of Signal Hill and Table Mountain. Four of our stylish suites offer you direct access to our green gardens where you can spend some of your time relaxing and soaking up the fresh air.In our large luxury suite, you can expect to find a fire place, perfect for those chilly Cape Town days, a large Victorian bathroom with a separate shower and direct access to the balcony that offers our beautiful mountain views. In each room, you can expect to find heated towel rails, a flat screen TV, telephone, mini bar with the best selection of local wines, air conditioning, electronic safe, and of course, WI-FI.

The Walden House makes it easier for you to explore the beauty Cape Town has to offer. With only five minutes from Cape Town’s finest beaches, Table Mountain, and the Waterfront. Within a twenty-minute drive, you can explore the famous Stellenbosch and Franschhoek Winelands. For business trips, it offers ideal accommodation with easy access to Cape Town International Airport. At The Walden House, you can start your day off with Freshly baked breads, croissants and muffins in the morning.

We cater to pay close attention to your needs. We are happy to help with planning your daily activities, a tour around the Cape, or help you hire a car. We offer a home away from home atmosphere.

Rates are subject to change without notice and that specials are only valid for new reservations
Prices include 14%
We do not charge a tourism levy
We regret, no children under 12 years (unless arranged with management)

CONFIRMATION / DEPOSIT / PAYMENT
•A 50% deposit is payable on confirmation of reservations.The deposit must be received not later than 20 days prior to date of arrival, otherwise the booking will be release.
•All outstanding amounts must be settled on departure.
•Should you cancel your reservation less than 15 days before arrival, a 50% cancellation fee is due.
•A no show is subject to the full amount due.

CREDIT CARD:
The 50% deposit will then be deducted from your credit card. Cash, Visa and Master cards are welcome. Please note that any accounts settled with American Express or Diners cards will have a 3% surcharge added.
CANCELLATION:
The Walden House CC reserve the right to charge the following cancellation fee, should confirmed reservation be canceled within the following period:
25 % cancellation fee if canceled 30 days or less prior to arrival
50 % cancellation fee if canceled 14 days or less prior to arrival
80% cancellation fee if canceled 07 days or less prior to arrival or no show
Non – payment of deposits will be treated as a cancellation of the reservation.
In the case of non – arrivals, guests will be held responsible for the total cost of the reserved accommodation.

Please note provisional bookings will not be held longer that 7 days, unless arranged with management.
